According to a recent survey, Russians tend to spend the most money on clothes before the summer season. The study, conducted by the social network "Odnoklassniki" and the YooKassa service, found that 62% of Russians make purchases specifically for the summer. This includes buying new clothes, which is the most popular expense, accounting for 20% of respondents. The second most popular expense is vacations, chosen by 14% of respondents. Another 11% plan to spend the most money on home renovations and improvements.
The study also revealed an increased demand for construction and gardening supplies. With more people staying at home due to the pandemic, many are taking on DIY projects and improving their living spaces. This has led to a surge in sales of tools, building materials, and garden equipment.
In addition, the study found that more than half of working Russians are taking on weekend jobs from home. This trend has been growing in recent years, with many individuals opting for flexible work arrangements that allow them to balance their personal and professional lives.
