Julien Dossena continues to reinterpret the codes of Rabanne with each collection, and this time he has outdone himself. In the spring-summer season, his masterpiece is the world's most expensive handbag - a new version of the iconic 1969 bag, made by hand from plates covered in 18-karat gold. Dossena explained that this €250,000 creation is a tribute to the gold and diamond dress designed by Paco Rabanne in 1968 for singer and actress Françoise Hardy. Two variations of the bag were also introduced, one made of Murano glass and the other made of ceramic, both equally stunning.
The collection also features a range of key and secondary players. The oversized jackets, a signature of Rabanne, make a bold statement, along with the metallic pleated mini skirts and shirts. The collection also includes knitted mint sweaters, A-line dresses, and chainmail dresses and boots. Classic striped and floral-printed shirts, t-shirts, and cardigans are also part of the collection. And for unpredictable weather in Paris, there are shoes and bags in transparent plastic covers.
