The production of shoes in Tula Region has grown by 32% in a year, with 5.4 million pairs manufactured in 2023.

In Tula Region, footwear production has experienced a significant increase of 32% compared to the previous year. According to Tula State Statistics, a total of 5.4 million pairs of shoes were produced in 2023, with one-third of them being made from textile materials. This marks a considerable growth compared to the production of approximately 3.6 million pairs in 2022.

The report from "MK in Tula" previously mentioned that various industries in Tula Region have shown promising growth in 2023. For instance, the manufacturing of women's and girls' dresses made from textile materials (excluding knitwear) increased by 4% compared to the same period in 2022, reaching a record of 184.6 thousand pieces. Additionally, Tula factories produced over 159 million rubles worth of paper stationery, further contributing to the region's industrial output.

Tula Region's Continued Growth

This surge in shoe production is indicative of Tula Region's ongoing industrial growth. With the consistent expansion of various industries, including textiles and paper goods, the region is establishing itself as a hub for manufacturing.
