Yesterday's Emporio Armani show, consisting of 111 looks, was a journey through multiple Armani universes. This year, the designer will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his empire's foundation.
The show opened with outdoor-inspired ensembles, some created using patchwork and others seemingly using the batik technique. The colors transitioned smoothly from ochre to fuchsia and then to deep blue.
The atelier of the Italian fashion house showcased stunning fluid velvet suits, jackets, and loose-fitting trousers in copper and bottle shades. Classic versions of suits were also presented, paired with chunky knit sweaters, checked coats, and trench coats with high collars.
In the following segment, Armani introduced caramel and eggplant-colored leather, leopard prints, cropped and floor-length furs, denim adorned with velvet fur, scarves neatly placed on bomber jackets, and an abundance of flowers adorning shirts, short jackets, blazers, and robes.
The accessories included a significant number of headwear options, ranging from brimless baseball caps to berets with predatory prints. Overall, Armani combined elements from both Western and Eastern cultures, closing the show with Emporio-goth-boho double dressing, and once again proving that his creative energy remains unparalleled.
