Discover the Fortis V-40 Vagabond, a new collection that redefines the brand's approach with a focus on stress-free exploration and elegance.

Fortis, known for its rugged and durable tool watches, is taking on a new direction with the introduction of the Vagabond collection. This line of watches is aimed at those who embrace traditional journeys and seek stress-free exploration with a touch of elegance.

The Fortis V-40 Vagabond features a 40mm square-shaped cushion case made from grade 5 titanium. The case is predominantly brushed with a polished thin bezel and short curved lugs for a comfortable fit. The watch is also equipped with a screw-down crown for easy handling.

The dial of the V-40 Vagabond is designed for functionality and legibility. It features a matte textured dial with various details organized into circular segments. The outer edge of the dial has a printed minutes/seconds track, with polished applied numerals for the odd-numbered hours and stick indices for the rest. The hour and minute hands, as well as the stick indices and triangle marker, are filled with Super-LumiNova X1 for low-light visibility. A white gold 24-hour ring adds an extra layer of functionality.

There are three dial colors available for the V-40 Vagabond: matte Stormy Grey, darker shade of grey Urban Shadow, and Blue Dusk. The watch also features an integrated GMT function, allowing the wearer to easily adjust local time and change the date both forward and backwards at any point in the day. The movement, calibre Werk 13, is chronometer-certified and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 70-hour power reserve.

The V-40 Vagabond comes with a titanium three-link bracelet and a safety folding buckle with a quick-adjustable extension for easy wear. The watch is water-resistant to 200m.

The Fortis V-40 Vagabond is a well-conceived and functional timepiece that adds a refreshing originality to the brand's lineup. Pricing for this "ultimate companion for the modern nomad" is yet to be confirmed, but is expected to align with other Fortis offerings.
